This post contains the process and assessment criteria for channel bumper project.

 

Project 1: Brief about Channel Bumper

 

Individual Task    : 20%

 

Deadline                : Week 7

 

Description            : Students will produce 5 - 10 second channel bumper for a YouTube

                                  channel for this task.

 

Requirements        : 1. Use information for any proposed channel (existing/fictional)

                                 2. Create a mood board that reflects the idea

                                  3. Prepare a style guide that conveys the final look

                                  4. Create a storyboard

                                  5. Create animatics or motion

                                  6. Explore appropriate audio to uplift the motion tempo

 

Submission            : Final output will include 5 to 10 second video

                                 (mp4, h2.64, 16:9 - 1921x1080, 25 fps, ACC, 48kHz upload to unlisted

                                 You Tube Channel)

Channel Bumper for You Tube Channel

 

Channel information:

 

It will be a combination of various content that will be produce by the owner.

 

 

 

Identity Style            : Vacation and holiday.

 

Aim of the

channel bumper       : 1. Create understandable summary of the content in the channel

                                     2. Gain more subscriber for the channel

                                     3. Show the identity of the channel

Ideation                     :

 

This first project is about channel bumper that is an individual task for each student that will be continue by making channel ident for the next project. This channel will be having content about the history in Malaysia. This channel bumper will be introducing the identity of the content in the YouTube channel.

Week 6

Mood Board:

Mood board will act as a guide to create the channel bumper, color scheme, animation and typography.

Color Scheme:

 

I went with this pastel color because it can represent the channel's female owner. On my YouTube channel, I'll be posting a variety of videos that offer advice and preparation ideas for people planning vacations, particularly for girls. In order to highlight the contrast between them, the pastel tone will blend with the dark tone.

Typography:

Ariel and ArmWrestler will be the typeface I use for this channel bumper. I would like to reveal the identity of the lively and enjoyable YouTube channel. It has a greater ability to reveal the channel's identity than a standard typeface. Using this typeface will be more appropriate and a nice combination for my channel bumper.
